-V I fell straight from heaven without tearing off my wings Optimistic eyes always surprised by stranger things Think of all that life could be Always so much happening Can’t wait to get started when I turn 17 I fell into college but I left with no degree Turns out academics was just not really for me Wondered if my life could be Lived aloud on stage and screen Just getting started, no idea what I was doing -C You’ve gotta shine You never know what’s best Most of your life will seem like A long road going nowhere But you’ve gotta shine Just give it your best guess Still got a long, long way to go Til your life feels like home -V I became an actor cos I wanted everything Busting through auditions with a face so fresh it sings Suddenly my life would be Wealth and popularity I’m just getting started, it’s finally happening I was rich and famous, with a house, a pool, a yacht Everything I thought would fill me up just ate my heart Where do people find meaning?
